Active Piezo Buzzer Pinout
Active piezo buzzers are powered through DC voltage and are mostly utilized in alarm devices, security systems, alarms, sirens, etc.
Depending on different applications, buzzer mounting configurations include SMT, PCB pin type, lead wire, vertical mount, panel mount and etc. The pinout piezo buzzer includes two pins namely positive and negative. The positive terminal is represented with the ‘+’ symbol or a longer terminal, whereas the negative terminal is represented with the ‘-’symbol or shorter terminal and it is connected to the GND terminal.
The pinout piezo buzzer is a compact 2-pin structure, and can be easily used on breadboard, Perf Board and even on PCBs which are widely used component in most electronic applications.
